About Mathosis
Mathosis is an independent early-stage habit tracker project for people who want the clarity of a spreadsheet and the speed of a modern app.
Many trackers treat a perfect streak as the product. Real routines are less tidy: exams arrive, travel interrupts, energy changes and goals evolve. Mathosis is being designed to preserve a clear plan while making review and restart as important as completion.
The current early-access app offers visual schedules, check-ins, trends and reflections. It is not yet a full subscription service: accounts, cloud sync, reliable background reminders and billing remain under development.
A missed day should remain visible so the review can be useful. Progress summaries should explain their calculations.
A dashboard should make the next useful action obvious instead of overwhelming users with scores.
Restarting is part of habit building. Planned rest, changing circumstances and deliberately ending a habit should not be treated as character flaws.
People should be able to export and delete their records, understand where those records live and avoid unnecessary tracking.
The initial focus is students and young professionals in India who use notebooks, spreadsheets or simple apps for study, exercise, sleep, meditation and skill-building routines. The tracker can be used more broadly, but focused product decisions are more useful than claiming it is for everyone.
The upward mark represents learning from repeated action. Because the name can sound mathematics-related, we pair it with a clear description: Mathosis — Habit Tracker & Routine Planner.
